Heart rate not working. I received vivactive 4s as a gift from my company..but the heart rate function is not working..it is just grey with dots on my dial. I tried restarting. It is also in auto state when I go in device settings. I'm not sure why it's not working.
Does anyone else have problems with Abnormal Heart Rate Alerts not showing any notifications? My Vivoactive 4 is giving random vibration alerts with no notification or explanation for why the watch is vibrating. Looking at Health Stats widged, I can clearly see that my heart rate is at elevated value (over 160 bpm when lying on the bed).

heart rate when doing activity only. 2943562 over 4 years ago. a question please (or maybe a suggestion) why it's not possible to make the heart rate turn on when doing activity automatically. I mean why do we have to have to turn it on manually (if it's off) before the activity, and then turn it off after that.

The problem is with the watch, not the phone app and not the laptop app. It was working fine until 3 days ago but now whether it's cardio, walking, circuit, running or swimming (with or without a chest-strap heart monitor) no intensity minutes are being recorded. And yes, I am getting my HR high enough and exercising long enough for it to register.
